Edouard Vanbelle ec72374651 feat(api): can grant external user (via email)
- add possibility to grant an external user.
    - route /api/users/{id} added (rate limited for security)
    - security: start route limitation for external users
        ex: they must not browse /api/users/{id} nor addressbook

Edouard Vanbelle 09985f8a95 feat(group): 1st implementation of Groups
this implements first version (manageable only by admin right now)

    routes:

        GET /api/groups
        List subject groups (paginated). Admin-only.

        POST /api/groups
        Create a new ReBAC subject group. Admin-only. The name must match the RFC 5321 local-part shape and be globally unique (case-insensitive).

        GET /api/groups/search
        Search non-virtual groups by name substring. Authenticated only (no admin role required) — backs the share-dialog recipient autocomplete.

        GET /api/groups/{id}
        Fetch a single group's details. Admin-only.

        DELETE /api/groups/{id}
        Delete a group. Cascades to `subject_group_members` (FK) and to `access_grants` rows referencing this group as a subject. Admin-only.

        PATCH /api/groups/{id}
        Update a group's metadata. Admin-only. v1 only persists name renames.

        GET /api/groups/{id}/effective-members
        List every user transitively reached through this group (members of members of members, etc.). Used by admin / audit tooling. Admin-only.

        GET /api/groups/{id}/members
        List the *direct* members of a group (one level only). Admin-only.

        POST /api/groups/{id}/members
        Add a member to a group. Exactly one of `user_id` / `group_id` must be provided. Adding a group-member runs a write-time cycle check and a nesting-depth check (max 8). Admin-only.

        DELETE /api/groups/{id}/members/group/{gid}
        Remove a nested group-member from a group. Admin-only.

        DELETE /api/groups/{id}/members/user/{uid}
        Remove a user-member from a group. Admin-only.

abnvle d15d7b8f8e feat(share): public folder browsing API + range support + zip
Five new public endpoints under /api/s/{token}/...:
  GET /contents
  GET /contents/{folder_id}
  GET /file/{file_id}
  GET /zip
  GET /zip/{folder_id}

All honour the unlock cookie from /verify, so password-protected
folder shares work end-to-end.

Folder/file IDs are validated against the share subtree via a single
ltree containment query (O(log N) on the existing GiST index).
Out-of-scope IDs return 404.

download_shared_file refactored to a Range/304/206/416-aware
serve_share_file helper, shared with the new /file/{file_id}
endpoint. content_disposition extracted from FileHandler so RFC 5987
formatting is identical across auth and share download paths.

Edouard Vanbelle 05037e7491 feat(ui): permit drag&drop to the operating system
a drop outside of the browser will:
  - upload the file if only 1 file selected
  - upload a .zip of the directory or multiple selection (browsers do not permit multiple upload yet)

note: I had to create a new handler because a post request to /api/batch/download is possible via JS but it will create a memory blob in the browser, during the drag action.

This may exhaust the browser's memory if heavy files
This will initiate zip creation from the server even if drop is canceled
The best approach is to add a handler supporting GET calls, this call will be triggered by the browser on drop action outside of it's window

Diocrafts edf1e66989 feat: add public share page with download support (#253)
Share links now point to /s/{token} (was /api/s/{token}) and render a
proper HTML page instead of raw JSON.

Changes:
- static/share.html: standalone public share page
- static/css/views/share-public.css: share page styles
- static/js/views/public/publicShare.js: client-side logic that fetches
  share metadata via /api/s/{token}, handles password-protected shares,
  and renders file download / folder info
- build.rs: include share.html in the HTML embed pipeline
- web/mod.rs: serve /s/{token} route (unauthenticated)
- share_dto.rs: generate URLs as /s/{token} instead of /api/s/{token}
- share_handler.rs: new download_shared_file() handler that validates the
  share token and streams file content without requiring authentication
- routes.rs: mount GET /api/s/{token}/download (public, uses AppState)

BillionClaw 0cbbb6b7ac fix: ARMv7 32-bit compilation overflow
The constant 10 * 1024 * 1024 * 1024 (10 GB) overflows on 32-bit systems
where usize is 32-bit (max ~4GB). This caused compilation failures on
ARMv7 architecture.

Fix by using architecture-appropriate limits:
- 64-bit: 10 GB (unchanged)
- 32-bit: 1 GB (safe maximum for 32-bit usize)

Diocrafts db93b48149 feat: client-side video thumbnail generation (no ffmpeg)
Backend:
- get_thumbnail: for non-images, serve cached thumb or 204 (not 400)
- store_external_thumbnail: validate + re-encode to WebP + persist
- get_cached_thumbnail: memory → disk lookup without generation
- PUT /api/files/{id}/thumbnail/{size} endpoint for client uploads
- ThumbnailPort trait: add get_cached_thumbnail + store_external_thumbnail

Frontend (photos.js):
- On <img> error for video tiles, use <video> + <canvas> to extract
  a frame at 25% duration using browser's native codec
- Show frame immediately via blob URL
- Fire-and-forget PUT to server for permanent caching
- Subsequent visits serve cached WebP instantly (no re-extraction)

Zero server-side dependencies — CPU distributed across clients.

Jared Wolff 53e4f5afe6 feat(photos): add Photos timeline view with lightbox and infinite scroll
Backend: new GET /api/photos endpoint with cursor-based pagination that
queries image/video files sorted by EXIF captured_at (falling back to
created_at), joining file_metadata for sort dates.

Frontend: dense photo grid grouped by day with lazy-loaded thumbnails,
IntersectionObserver infinite scroll, multi-select with batch
download/delete, and a full-screen lightbox with prev/next navigation,
EXIF metadata display, and download/favorite/delete toolbar.

Includes navigation wiring, CSS (with dark theme), and i18n translations
for all 9 locales.

from uploaded images using kamadak-exif. Store metadata in a new
file_metadata PG table. Apply EXIF orientation to thumbnail generation
so images display correctly. Add /api/files/{id}/metadata endpoint.

Diocrafts 6ad23e0acc fix(perf): replace std::sync::Mutex with moka lock-free cache in async context
Eliminates deadlock risk under concurrent load:
- SearchService: Arc<Mutex<HashMap>> → moka::sync::Cache with automatic TTL + LRU
  - Removed manual cleanup task, TTL checking, eviction logic (~90 lines)
  - get_from_cache/store_in_cache are now single lock-free calls
  - clear_search_cache uses invalidate_all()
- HttpCache: Arc<Mutex<HashMap>> → moka::sync::Cache
  - Removed stats(), cleanup(), evict_oldest() manual methods
  - Removed CacheEntry.timestamp/max_age fields (moka handles internally)
  - Removed start_cache_cleanup_task (moka evicts lazily)
- routes.rs: Removed dead HttpCache instantiation and unused TTL variables

Impact: std::sync::Mutex::lock() blocked Tokio worker threads; N concurrent
requests (N = CPU count) could freeze the entire server. moka::sync::Cache
is lock-free and designed for async runtimes — zero contention.
